Shiva Shrestha Foundation Officially Established, Launches First Social Initiative with Free Health Camp

Kathmandu, Nepal – Under the leadership of renowned Nepali actor Shiva Shrestha, popularly known as the 'Action King' of Nepali cinema, the Shiva Shrestha Foundation was officially established with the mission of contributing to the welfare of Nepali cinema, arts, culture, education, health, agriculture, and social service.
Marking the foundation’s first official social initiative, a 'Free Health Camp for Students' was organized on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Mahendra Adarsha Vidya Ashram in Satdobato, Lalitpur.
The health camp was conducted in technical collaboration with Civil Service Hospital and provided free medical services to students of the school. The camp included ENT checkups, dental services, gynecology consultations, and comprehensive general health examinations.
Speaking at the event, Foundation President Shiva Shrestha stated that the foundation was established with the vision of making meaningful contributions to Nepali society. 'The foundation plans to continue organizing similar social service programs in the future,' he emphasized.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Pampha Bhusal, Mohan Niraula, Sunil Katuwal, and several prominent personalities from the Nepali film industry.
Hundreds of students benefited from the free health camp. Participants appreciated the initiative, stating that such programs reflect the growing sense of social responsibility among Nepali artists.
