Tree Plantation Program by Shiva Shrestha Foundation Concludes Successfully at Bishankhunarayan Temple

Lalitpur, August 2, 2025 – Shiva Shrestha Foundation successfully organized a tree plantation today at the premises of Bishankhunarayan Temple, Lalitpur, with the theme 'One Tree for the Nation'. The program commenced sharply at 9:30 AM as scheduled and saw enthusiastic participation from various sectors of society.

Renowned actor Shiva Shrestha was present at the event, accompanied by a number of artists, directors, local ward representatives, community leaders, and Nepal Police personnel. The presence of local residents added more strength to the noble cause.

One of the highlights of the event was the cheerful participation of children, who not only helped plant trees but also thoroughly enjoyed being part of the green initiative, making the atmosphere vibrant and hopeful.

A total of 51 saplings of various species were planted during the program. The list includes Ashy, Bottle Brush, Tecoma Yellow, Karbir, Parijat, Plumeria, Hibiscus, Kapur, Swami, Rudrakshya, Amba (Mango), Haluwabed, Avocado, Anjir (Fig), Aalu (Potato Tree), Aarubakhara (Peach), Naspati (Pear), Orange, and Jamun (Black Plum).

The Shiva Shrestha Foundation expressed gratitude to all supporters and participants. The team also committed to continuing similar environmental initiatives in the future, emphasizing the need for collective responsibility in preserving nature.
